Rhodes Old Town: The medieval walled city (14km, 20 minutes) is one of Europe's best-preserved medieval towns and UNESCO World Heritage site. Built by Knights of St. John (1309-1522), the old town features cobblestone Street of the Knights, Palace of the Grand Masters (impressive fortress-palace), Archaeological Museum, numerous churches and mosques, ramparts you can walk, and maze of narrow streets. The village is car-free - park below and walk up.
