Rhodes Old Town: The medieval walled city (14km, 20 minutes) is one of Europe's best-preserved medieval towns and UNESCO World Heritage site. Lindos is Rhodes' most picturesque village but extremely crowded in peak season. Visit early morning before tour buses arrive or late afternoon/evening. The village is car-free - park below and walk up.
Beaches: East coast (Aegean): calmer water, more developed. Faliraki (14km south) is major resort with long beach, water park, nightlife.
