Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, and countless churches, piazzas, and fountains. Allow at least 3-4 days to see major sights.
Peak Season: Rome is busy year-round but especially crowded Easter week, April-October, and Christmas. July-August are very hot (35-40°C) with many Romans on holiday. Spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) are ideal. Winter is mild but wetter.
