Easy to explore on foot - allow 2 hours. Best visited late afternoon for atmospheric light. Entrance fee applies.

Major sites include: Tlos (40km from Fethiye) with acropolis and rock tombs, Telmessos rock tombs in Fethiye itself, Letoon UNESCO site (65km), Xanthos ancient Lycian capital (65km), Patara with 18km beach and ruins (70km), Kaunos ruins accessible by boat from Dalyan.
